BiRtHdAy!!!!!

Well hello there! I really, really, REALLY need to be better about blogging...it's going to be my new New Years resolution. So as I'm sure everyone is aware... ;) I just had a birthday!! Oh my word, everything about it was FANTASTIC! I'll start from the top...

First off, my sweet husband woke up at 5 am! Yes. That's right folks, 5 O'CLOCK AM! to make me breakfast. We had pull-aparts (my fav.) and then he gave me the greatest present of my life.........

Yep, you saw it right. SPARKLE SHOES!! Best. Present. Ever. *sigh* Anywho, and he also gave me a cute shirt (that he picked out all by himself!) for me to wear that day. So then I started my day with a test in my hardest class...and 7:30 AM...but at least it was all over early! And I got onto my partaying in-between classes!

Okay, maybe I should explain something first. Don't ask me why, but different places in Logan give you free stuff on your birthday! Who knew. I found all the info at www.freebeeday.com and this website by far made me have one of the best birthdays yet! (Remember everything I list I did FOR FREE!) First I went to a spa and got a hydro-massage (it's like a water bed with jets...but so much better.) Then I got my eyebrows waxed (new experience...and very attractive...I think it's the bangs that make it.) then picked up Alex from school and continued our day of free stuff! For lunch we had a taco salad, dr. pepper, hot chocolate, and a personal pizza (all from various places). Then I got myself a beautiful rose and headed back up to class for another 3 hours in the afternoon. After my last class, Alex came and picked me up and we headed down the Love To Cook (a kitchen store) and I got a $10 gift card! I haven't used it yet...I need to spend it well and am so torn on what to get...But thank you to all of those free locations in good ol' Logan, Utah! :)

Then...my Mom came up from Bountiful and we went to dinner with her and my brother and his new girl at the Olive Garden (mmmm...) Then we invited friends over and spent the rest of night having a fabulous party! Compliments to my girl KT for making me the most incredible cake I have ever seen in my life. Yes, the frosting was pink and the inside was zebra! I about died. She also made cupcakes (that woman!) and my Mom brought chocolate covered strawberries. :)

I opened some incredible presents. Clothes, some zebra earrings, a sparkly headband and a zebra headband, zebra sunglasses, an adorable notepad and pen, delish smelling hand soap, lots of candy!, and this......(last picture)

Tell me that is not THE most incredible thing you have ever seen in your life. Another thing that I just about died over. If I could just describe my obsession for zebra...but I'm not even going to try, because it's way too much! Can you tell I kind of like zebra print?! Ha.

Besides my AMAZING shoes from my cute husband, he also decorated the whole apartment with balloons and banner, got me a princess balloon, and birthday hats for everyone to wear AND a Dora the Explorer tiara. Ha!! As if he couldn't get any better, he also gave me some awesome workout pants, two of my favorite movies (Tangled and Despicable Me), and this little doll!!

Isn't she adorable?! Um...yes!! If you know me, then you know that I'm pretty convinced I'm still 5 sometimes and so does my husband! Ha. But I'm not ashamed! Yes I LOVE zebra, sparkles, girly anything, and pillow pets. Her name is Lady and I think she is adorable.

So after present and cake and ice cream, we spend the rest of the night playing games! We played the candy bar game...if none of you have heard of it, it's were everyone has a paper sack and you put a bunch of candy bars in the middle of the circle and then go around the circle rolling a dice. If you roll a 1 or a 6 you get to pick a candy bar from the middle OR steal someone else's, but you have to remember who had it and what candy bar it is. So it's more of a memory game...really fun and everyone ends up with something at the end! Then we played a couple rounds of Werewolf (which is a game almost exactly like Mafia.) It was a thrill!

The whole day was so much fun and I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. I was telling Alex that one of my favorite things about having a birthday is that you have an excuse to talk to so many people! Obviously, I LOVE talking and I loved it even more when people called or texted me and we could chat for a few minutes and catch up! Thank you to all who wished me a Happy Birthday, were a part of my birthday, and those sweet people who got me gifts! All in all it was a fantastic birthday and I can't think of how the day could have gotten any better!! AND I still get to celebrate with my in-laws and my Dad tomorrow and this upcoming weekend. I can't wait!

*Sigh* I love birthdays! :)
